sorry, at the moment the encoders (myself and pablo have had a lot on our shoulders) we've been working tirelessly to get gintama, soul eater and d gray man out. however atm -_- my comp crashed last night just as i was about to begin. >.> im getting really sick and tired of windows vista so i got a new hard drive today and am working on setting up this thing.

LOL well i was putting off getting a new computer was hoping to save up before going into debt, LOL but it looks like instead imma end up going broke -_- sigh. computers cost a pretty penny specially when you need them to do certain things. right now the one thing i need is a computer to both encode and continue my work. -_-

Wolf, you can uninstall Vista and install XP. Time-consuming and potentially dangerous, but it can be done.

I have vista, never have had a problem with it, cept ONE program I had wouldn't install on it, and that was Nero, that dvd burning program. Its quite handy and I think it sorts things better, but, for things like what wolf does, I don't think Vista is... debugged enough.

When i got my new comp it came with Vista. I formatted it and installed XP within a week, it was terrible so many bugs and programs that wouldn't install.

I'll prob install it again sometime in the future when they release some decent fixes for it.

yeah, give it a couple years, it'll be a lot... LOT, better. But so far its been perfect for me, I like it more than XP at this point, having been using vista for about a year and a half now, I'm more used to it than XP, since I barely use the house computer now.

Yeah i will install it again one day but im in no hurry. I've never has any probs with XP, well at least none that weren't my own fault lol.

yeah, I think XP is probably the most complete version of windows, with little bugs and very few flaws. It'll take Vista forever to reach the sercurity of stability XP has already accomplished, but once its debugged for the most part, it'll be really close I think.

I think I'd wait for the new OS, Windows 7. Anyways, too much chit chat, get back to work!!

This is just like XP's launch. Bugs, incompatibilities... Most were fixed, I think, when SP2 came out. So I'm waiting.

I think I'd only use Vista on 2 conditions: XP becomes obsolete or when I make enough money for 3 way SLI GeForce 280 and Vista Ultimate.

Maybe Vista took control of his comp and told it to stop working. Apparently Vista can tell if your doing anything illegal then it tells the different parts of the comp not to work together.

nope, what happened was i was doing some programming for work and i blew the sata ports. my comp has a band aid solution at the moment but ill haven't installed an operating system yet, since haven't been home today.

Maybe thats what Microsoft wants you to think happened lol
