what other exorcists? lol. the impression I got was that all Exorcists start out as apprentices, because all the Exorcists have "their" general - Allen's is Cross, Kanda's is Tiedoll, etc.

But technically wouldn't it only be considered an apprentice? because you cant really call someone an apprentice exorcist your either one or your not? ..........being an apprentice in actual fact alan was an apprentice to the general, not as an exorcist am i not right? LOL Most of the other people it kinda seems were in ways born into it, or just recruited.......i think alan was one of the only ones who was an apprentice. Kanda was not an apprentice but like a "soldier of" his general.

thats what ive been tryig to say, ive never seen any actual exorsist in training except for the generals app eg alan. when people get their innocence activated they automatically become exorsists eg. miranda, krory.

I think that there has to be some training involved to become an exorcist - but look at how Lenalee was "recruited" they basically kidnapped her because she was compatible. so I dunno.

but we've never seen any in training apart from those as generals app's. Look at Miranda and Krory staright into fulltime exorcising.

hm, I don't think thats true, miranda says something about training or something I believe, and Krory wasn't in the anime a while after he got back to the order, so one can assume they were being trained/ prepared for real battles. I don't think miranda knew how to work her innocence right off the bat.

hm, well, in the anime at least, Miranda was gone for a long time. But it could be that someone wasn't teaching them HOW to use it, but teaching them how to control it, in turn, giving them the oppurtunity to teach themselves. I dunno! XD
