I hope he gets it in the end, and i think he will. Probably in some pointless way trying to do something he thinks is "for the greater good" like trying to kill Allen or something. _________________

yep, I can see it now, or maybe it'll be something like him trying to make Lenalee go out and fight, and something ends up getting him in the process. _________________

I've just had a really scary thought. What do you think Hoshino meant by the line "that was the last anyone saw of Cross Marian"? At the time i thought it just meant that was the last anyone saw of him for a long time (remember before Allen came to HQ know one else had seen Cross for 4 years) i thought that if she meant know one saw him ever again she would have put "that was the last anyone ever saw of Cross Marian". But the thought i've had makes me think he could be gone for good. We know that Cross uses the innocence Grave of Maria by using his magic to control the corpse of a woman named Maria who's innocence it actually is. What if there was some sort of price he had to pay for controlling the dead and her innocence, what if when he died Maria say used his soul to come back to life or for some other unknown purpose. What if the reason he finally told Allen the truth was because he new he didn't have much longer to live. When the time on his "deal" ran out Maria took control of his body and made him shoot himself, she then took his corpse like he took hers. This could explain why he left what appears to be Judgement behind. What do yu think i REALLY hope i'm wrong and this is just yet another of my crazy theorys. _________________

I think that's stretching it a little, tho the theory isn't impossible, I don't think it'll be like that. _________________

just to that point, no one has seen, or heard from him since that time. Not that he'll never be seen again. Its just to clarify that Cross is presumed dead/missing. _________________

lol, if you over speculate like that, you'll depress yourself XD I want Cross back, and so do a lot of people, the author knows this, and its a tactful way to keep people reading, just to see when Cross finally comes back because knowing Cross it'll be something flashy and awesome. lol. _________________

When i pictured Allen and Cross's first time seeing each other again this scene popped into my head. They're running towards each other in slow motion both with their arms outstretched "Master" says Allen. "Allen" says Cross. From Allen's point of view Cross looks bright and sparkling all over, from Cross's point of view Allen looks filthy with fly's buzzing around him Just as they reach each other Cross suddenly shoves a bunch of bills into Allen's arms and keeps running past. Allen watches him run past then turns to face the direction Cross was running from only to see a stampede of people all armed to the teeth running straight at him. Ah good times. _________________

I believe the next time Cross appears, Allen will try attacking him and in turn his attack will be reversed and he will be crushed while everyone else double takes. _________________

| maxsteele77, im getting kinda scared on what u speculated up there about Cross's fate. Nah but he ain't dead, he's Cross Marian. I really wanna see General Cloud and General Sokaro fight more. I really like Cloud's innocence, its different from any innocence shown so far. But I gotta say, General Sokaro's innocence, Madness, is crazy!

lol which could be why the Earl reminds me of him. But don't forget the Earl was once a human so i don't think he's totally evil just 99.99% _________________

gah, you just HAD to remind me that we still haven't gotten to see the Earl in his human form! That bugs me big time, lol. I mean, who would have even thought the Earl had a human form until that chapter a while back... where it DIDN'T show us his face.... and now has me super curious! lol. _________________

I wouldn't be surprised if the Earl turns out to be the Pope or someone really important in his human form. _________________

lol, its very well possible. Which would make sense why no one has figured out who the Earl IS in real life. If it was someone really high up there, no one would suspect it. _________________
